Operations Coordinator – Administration

Are you a tech savvy, administrative dynamo who loves helping organizations operate smoothly and efficiently? Do you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same? Then we are looking for you!

Gibsons Community Building Society, operator of the Gibsons Public Market and Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre, is seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative work of the organization, specifically for the senior leadership team, finance Department, and volunteer Board members.

Community Impact and Events Coordinator

Responsible for implementation of initiatives and activities that increase the impact of GCBS’ programs, which also includes: managing bookings, rentals and in-house GCBS/GMEC events and overseeing their successful execution, with responsibilities for contributing to successful marketing strategy.

Administration Assistant

Are you a people-oriented person who loves interacting with locals and visitors alike? Come and work with us to grow the Public Market and Marine Education Centre.  

As the first point of contact, the Administrative Assistant/Reception position is a key role for both the Gibsons Public Market and Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre. 

This is a regular part time position of 16-24 hours per week.
