 Gibsons Public Market is operated by a non-profit society – Gibsons Community Building Society. Our mission is to build a healthy, caring, and thriving community through vibrant community gathering spaces, an inspiring marine education centre, and a bustling local market – to showcase Coastal life and support community economic development. 

• We provide public community space throughout the Gibsons Public Market and outside in the Judi “Bubs” Libin Park and Play Centre. Our free public amenities include TELUS high-speed Internet, public washrooms, parking, and an electric vehicle charging station.
• We host free community events throughout the year, including Saturday Live Music, Neighbourhood Nights, Wellness Fest, Gibsons Summer Night Markets, a Kids Market and a Winter Festival & Market. These events provide economic opportunities for Sunshine Coast entrepreneurs, musicians, and artists and welcome people to gather together in a family friendly environment without a financial barrier. 
• We deliver meaningful community programs for children and adults, these include our Demo+Dine series and our Kids Cooking Classes and Day Camps. 
• We provide venue space for community groups to gather and do their important work. Many Sunshine Coast non-profits and community groups use the Market, with discounts to make our venue accessible to their budgets.
