We raised $77,500 for Gibsons Community Building Society AND $65,000 for the Gibsons Marine Education Centre Society!

Were you one of the more than 450,000 who visited the Public Market during our first 5 years? Perhaps you participated in one of our lively Night Markets this summer. Or maybe you learned a delicious recipe at one of our new interactive Demo & Dine cooking workshops – just a few of the many popular programs and events for people of all ages offered at the Public Market.

As we approach the end of the year, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $120,000 – $55,000 for the Gibsons Community Building Society and $65,000 for the Gibsons Marine Education Centre Society.

Donations to Gibsons Community Building Society help our non-profit:

• Support the livelihoods of small local entrepreneurs and the people they employ
• Provide a welcoming space in a spectacular setting where friends and neighbours can connect, share a meal or glass of wine, listen to music, and see works of art created by amazing local artists
• Offer a variety of workshops, events and programs for community members of all ages.

The return to normal activities after the pandemic was slower than anticipated and interfered with our ability to earn revenue in 2022. Your support towards our goal will ensure that we can continue to create a vibrant hub of coastal life and bring people together around good food, events, and education.
