Featuring views of Gibsons Marina and Keats Island, 25-foot vaulted ceilings and extensive natural light, our Atrium is the Sunshine Coast’s premiere rental space for events, celebrations, community meetings, performances, wedding receptions and more. With capacity for 20 to 200 people, a flexible open floor plan, and adjacent to Emelle’s Market Bistro, this is an exceptional gathering space.

Monday all day, Tuesday – Sunday after 6pm event start time.
$90 per hour

Public Activation Access

$110 per hour, $750 per day 

This rate is designed for groups looking to host their public events in the building during operating hours. The Market, Bistro, and Aquarium must be able to remain open for this rate.

$130 per hour, $950 per day

7 Days a week, 24hrs day (4 hours minimum booking)

PLEASE NOTE: For Private Bookings that overlap with Aquarium Operational Hours, a contribution is requested to offset a day’s average revenue (tax receipt available).

Please note: Unless for a multi-day booking, a ‘day’ is defined as 10 hours after which the hourly rate applies.

Our first contact with the Market was a tour offered by Georgy Good when the Market was nearing completion. We were impressed by the vision of the market as a community hub and a gathering place which could host a variety of activities.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at the Gibsons Public Market. The space is absolutely stunning with vaulted ceilings, big windows, and a large glowing fish tank. Our photos are exceptional! The staff are kind, attentive and keen to make every detail perfect for a flawless wedding. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue for our wedding.
