As a not-for-profit social enterprise, and a certified Buy Social Canada supplier, all rental revenues support community programming and our work to build a vibrant hub of Coastal life!
Featuring views of Gibsons Marina and Keats Island, 25-foot vaulted ceilings and extensive natural light, the Atrium is the Sunshine Coast’s premiere rental space for events, celebrations, community meetings, performances, wedding receptions and more. With capacity for 20 to 200 people, a flexible open floor plan, and adjacent to Emelle’s Market Bistro, this is an exceptional gathering space.
The Coastal Room
A flexible multipurpose meeting and conference room for rent, featuring an 82” Samsung Smart Board Display with Touch Screen, this 900 sq.ft. event space is easily configured for everything from business meetings and corporate private events to health and wellness classes.
The Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre
The Sunshine Coast’s only collect-and-release community aquarium, the Gibsons Marine Education Centre features 30 live animal exhibits showcasing the biodiversity of Howe Sound and the Salish Sea. A highly unique space to host parties or tours during cocktail hour before a Gala dinner, wedding reception, or birthday party, it is available as an add-on to all space rentals, or to book privately.
The CIBC Community Kitchen
A demonstration kitchen and community gathering space in Gibsons, with two large harvest tables and seating for up to 20, this is the perfect venue for cooking classes, culinary events,, pop-up restaurants, birthday parties and food or product demonstrations.
The CIBC Community Kitchen rents for $20 per hour.
Sally’s Commercial Kitchen
A modern, fully equipped Food Safe commercial kitchen on the Sunshine Coast, BC, available for food preparation and production activities. Whether you are a passionate amateur chef preparing for a large family meal or a professional foodie launching a food-based business, the commercial kitchen can be booked for single uses or on an ongoing basis.
Sally’s Commercial Kitchen rents for $30 per hour. Custom pricing available for ongoing, long-term rentals.
Weddings at Gibsons Public Market
A beautiful wedding venue in Gibsons, the Public Market is a unique choice for your reception. From intimate groups of 20 to large celebrations of more than 200, our staff is dedicated to making your big day truly exceptional. A highly customizable space, the Public Market is reserved exclusively for you and your guests, with the option to add access to our 30-tank community aquarium during your booking. With an award-winning in-house caterer and seven local businesses, including a florist, everything you need to celebrate is conveniently located under one roof.
