April 29, 2017 | GPM CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING

Today volunteers and supporters of the Gibsons Public Market celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the new community gathering place. The first step in realizing the public market was made in December 2013 when three families contributed and help raise funds to secure $1 million to purchase the abandoned Gibsons Yacht Club, located by the marina in Lower Gibsons. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Directors, the ED has strategic and operational responsibility for Gibsons Community Building Society staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. She or he will initially develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plan of the public market and marine education centre.
